Welcome to the Pierce Manse!
Currently, the Manse is open by appointment only. For individuals or groups fewer than 10 people, we ask you call ahead 48 hours prior to the day you would like to visit. School groups are welcome with two weeks advanced notice. For more information on planning a school visit, click here.
The Pierce Manse is the only home ever owned and lived in by President
Franklin Pierce, a New Hampshire native and the 14th President of the United States.
Located in Concord, New Hampshire, the historic home is open to the public and school groups for tours. The Pierce Manse also serves as the venue for monthly lectures and season events. Check out our
event calendar for upcoming event information.
The New Hampshire Political Library, in partnership with the
Pierce Brigade, operates the Pierce Manse and visitors can view a selection of the Library’s collection of political memorabilia from the New Hampshire primary.
