Elizabeth Edwards, with State Senator Lou D'Allesandro, visits with Political Library Executive Director Michael Chaney at the Library on the afternoon of the presidential debate held in Durham on December 9, 2003. Mrs. Edwards deposited Senator John Edwards' "Real Solutions for America" plan at the Library. The Edwards campaign enjoys the active support and the much-sought-after endorsement of Senator D'Allesandro.
